With Zac Efron in Australia this week for the premiere of his new movie, 17 Again, News.com.au ran a few quotes from Zac about performing onstage with Aussie Hugh Jackman at the Academy Awards last month.
About Hugh, Zac said, “I aspire to be where he’s at some day - to have that drive. It gives me hope a little bit.” When asked if he’d like to be in a movie with him, he replied, “Man I wish, can somebody write that? That could be a musical too. He could pull it off.”
Zac also talked about what it was like to share the stage with one of his mentors: “When I heard I was going to be on stage with Hugh, I was shocked. I was like, ‘I can’t keep up with that guy.’ Not only is he a better singer and dancer, he’s six foot three, or four. He’s the tallest guy that I’ve ever seen be that coordinated.”
Zac also denies the engagement rumor between him and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens, which was started late last month by the National Enquirer.
